UART/RS232 Protocol decode and waveform plot
PDU-R UART/RS232 Protocol decode
software with Tektronix make DPO7000 and DPO/DSA7000
Series oscilloscope captures and decode the UART/RS232
signals. PDU-R software allowing the decoded data
to be displayed in hexadecimal, binary, ACII or
decimal formats. The PDU-R software would automatically
recognize the data rate and decode the serial
signals.
Advanced Debug Capabilities
The feature rich PDU-R UART/RS232 protocol
decodes software automatically recognizes the
Tx and RX data speed and displays the decoded
data in different data formats. Engineers can
configure the PDU-R for odd, even, , or no parity.
For easy and rapid analysis, PDU-R offers the flexibility
to display the order of MSB and LSB in decoded byte.
Engineers can define the number of bits per data
to create a customized view of the decoded data.
In the USRT/RS232 Protocol Analysis Software, an
engineer can quickly link the decoded data to waveform
by selecting data in the result table. In the detailed
view, the ‘1’ and ‘0’ are
overlaid on the waveform to quickly analyze data
transition. When signals are decoded from a wfm
or CSV file, the PDU waveform display plots the
waveform enabling a simultaneous view of time and
data domains. Features
